Rhetorical questions are good for building up tension because it makes the reader think all the way through the story. It is also good for building up tension because the reader will have questions with no answer an will try an think what will com next using these questions.

Short Sentences

Short sentences are good for creating tension because they get the point across in a sharp way that really hits the reader and keeps them engaged.They are also good because it creates an image in the readers head,they are also good because it creates suspense and fear in the readers mind.







Description

Description is good to build up tension because it creates an image in the readers mind and it makes the reader feel that they are in the same situation. It is also used to create tension because it creayes suspension an also makes the stort more believable.

Powerful Verbs

Powerful verbs are good to use because they are straight to the point they are also good because it will add to the the doubts and fears and expectations that the reader might of expected to happen.
